How to Join?

All members must be able to satisfy the following requirements:

  • Be an experienced Referee (USSF Grassroots or higher, or equivalent certification through a national association)
  • Provide two references for their current skill level
  • Sign the NBSRA Officials Contract and pay annual membership dues
  • Pass the NFHS Test (85% or higher)
  • Attend a minimum of 16 hours of NBSRA approved training (Generally sponsored by CNRA, NFHS or NBSRA)

Games are usually scheduled weekdays 3-7pm with additional games on Saturday. Referees are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes before kickoff to complete pregame duties. Referees will also be required to have the USSF Uniform with the two-stripe sock.

New applicants should have some experience officiating at a competitive level.
